This past weekend we finally made it down to visit a good friend we don’t see nearly enough. You know how it is, life gets in the way and next thing you know a year goes by! So we got in the car and drove the 5 hours from Toronto to Ithaca, NY in upstate New York and had a fabulous (but way too short) weekend.
We even managed to squeeze in a hike to one of Ithaca’s many waterfalls – Buttermilk Falls Satet Park – and man, was it ever worth it. We went up the falls along the gorge trail and came back down on the rim trail. It was spectacular!
Here are some of the photos I took on my phone, I really wish I brought my DSLR this time because these photos don’t do this place justice. If you plan on being in the Ithaca, NY area I highly recommend this hike. Bring your camera!
