Los Amigos – Mexican Cuban cuisine

First dinner we had in Florida was at a Mexican Cuban restaurant. My boyfriend J. has never tried Cuban food before and I love Cuban food so the decision was easy.  We found ourselves at Los Amigos, a little place in a little shopping plaza, cozy and homey and cute. It was extremely affordable – they had margaritas for $3.75! The food tasted home made and did not disappoint.

They had the biggest selection of Cuban food on the menu than any other restaurant in the area, and the best empanadas I’ve ever had! I wish this place was in Toronto and not 2,000 miles away.

If you’re in the Daytona Beach area give this place a try!
